Thermostatic Thermostatic What is a thermostatic mixer? Thermostatic mixers, what are they? It is a mixer with a thermostat in it. It regulates the temperature of the water, so that you can set it with one button. Turn the knob warmer or colder, after which the thermostat ensures the mixing of hot and cold water to indicate the desired temperature. Tip: many thermostatic mixers have an indication for 38 degrees Celsius. That is a good average temperature for showers and baths, for example. Delivery information

The majority of our orders are shipped with various carriers. Sometimes we use other carriers to deliver specific orders or to ease the load on the main carriers to meet our delivery promises.

The expected delivery time is always shown on the product page. Most products that we have in stock are shipped the same day. The evening before delivery, you will receive tracking information with a time window for the delivery. Important to know: the drivers of our chosen carriers deliver the products to the front door on the ground floor.

Also, for larger products such as granite sinks, large fragile sinks, cabinets, etc., you will receive a tracking code in the evening. These products are not delivered to the neighbors and a signature is required, so someone must be home to receive the product. Note: these large products are not delivered on Saturdays!

If the delivery of a large product fails on the first attempt, the carrier will contact you via email or SMS to send you a schedule so you can choose a time when you will be home.

Delivery surcharges of €30 to €100 apply for shipments to islands, due to additional logistical costs such as water transport and limited accessibility, and there are surcharges for pallet shipments for transporting fragile and heavier products.

Black Tap Care & Maintenance

✅ Daily Maintenance: Wipe dry with a soft cloth after every use. Limescale is more visible on black surfaces.

✅ Weekly Cleaning: Clean with a mild detergent such as green soap and a soft cloth. Rinse well so no residue remains.

✅ Limescale Removal: Use a soft cloth with a citric acid based cleaner only. Rinse and dry immediately.

✅ After Showering: Dry the shower head and shower set after each use to prevent limescale from forming.

❗ Aggressive Cleaners: Never use chlorine, acetic acid, anti-limescale products, JIF, or other strong acids.

❗ Abrasive Materials: Don't use scouring pads, microfibre cloths, or abrasives. They scratch the black coating.

❗ Detergent Residue: Always rinse thoroughly after cleaning. Leftover detergent can damage the finish.

❗ Neglecting Limescale: Don't let buildup sit. It's much harder to remove from black surfaces without causing damage.

Brass Tap Care & Maintenance

✅ Daily Wipe-Down: Wipe with a soft damp cloth after each use and dry thoroughly. Water spots show easily on brass.

✅ Weekly Cleaning: Clean with mild dish soap and warm water using a soft cloth. The natural antibacterial properties help, but regular cleaning keeps the golden finish bright.

✅ Limescale Removal: Use a soft cloth with a citric acid based cleaner. Rinse and dry immediately.

✅ Preserve the Shine: Apply a thin layer of wax (car wax or furniture wax) occasionally to protect the finish and slow natural patina.

❗ Harsh Chemicals: Don't use bleach, ammonia, chlorine, or aggressive descalers. They damage the brass surface.

❗ Abrasive Materials: Avoid scouring pads, steel wool, and abrasive cleaners. They scratch the golden finish.

❗ Prolonged Moisture: Don't let water pool around the base of the tap. Standing moisture accelerates tarnishing.

❗ Acidic Substances: Don't let vinegar, lemon juice, or acidic cleaners sit on the surface. Apply, wipe, rinse quickly.
