The Aquanello Eterna smooth shower hose, 150 cm, in matte black (ET2740-10 ), is a stylish and flexible shower hose designed for use with a hand shower in both shower and bathtub setups.
The hose is approximately 150 cm long and features a smooth, matte black exterior. This creates a sleek and modern look that perfectly complements the other matte black products in the Aquanello Eterna series.
The flexible hose itself is made of PVC. The visible metal parts and connectors feature a special multi-layer black surface finish: first, a strong chrome-plated base layer is applied, after which the parts are finished with a matte black coating.
150 cm smooth shower hose
The Aquanello Eterna ET2740-10 has a length of approximately 1500 mm. This provides sufficient freedom of movement for comfortable use of the hand shower.
The hose can be used with, among other things:
- Built-in shower sets
- Surface-mounted shower sets
- Bathtub faucets
- Hand shower holders
- Shower rails
- Wall connections for hand showers
Smooth matte black exterior
Unlike a traditional metal spiral hose, the ET2740-10 has a smooth surface. This gives the shower hose a modern and minimalist look without visible metal coils.
The smooth exterior also has fewer deep grooves where soap residue or dirt can accumulate and can be easily wiped clean with a soft cloth.
Flexible PVC construction
The hose itself is made of flexible PVC. This allows the shower hose to move smoothly while using the hand shower.
The PVC makes it possible to create a sleek, smooth exterior that visually complements the minimalist design of the Eterna series.
Metal parts with chrome-plated base layer
The exposed metal parts and connectors of the ET2740-10 feature the signature multi-layer finish of the matte black Eterna products.
The metal base is first coated with a strong chrome undercoat. This forms a hard, smooth, and durable base onto which the matte black coating is then applied.
This construction ensures strong adhesion of the black topcoat and gives the metal components very high scratch and wear resistance during normal daily use.
Important: The chrome-plated undercoat applies to the metal connectors. The flexible hose itself is made of matte black PVC.
Deep matte black finish
The ET2740-10 has a matte black finish without significant glare. As a result, the hose pairs perfectly with matte black Eterna faucets, hand showers, shower arms, and wall-mounted components.
The combination of a smooth hose and minimalist black connectors ensures that the shower hose maintains a visually unobtrusive presence within the entire shower setup.
Advantages of the black version
- Smooth exterior: modern and minimalist appearance
- Flexible PVC hose: comfortable to use
- Matte black color: no strong glare
- Chrome-plated base layer on metal parts: a strong foundation for the black coating
- Very high scratch resistance of the metal parts: robust surface construction
- Very high wear resistance of the metal parts: suitable for daily use
To maintain the matte black finish, we recommend cleaning the hose and fittings with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh, highly acidic, or alkaline cleaning agents.
Standard G1/2 connections
The shower hose is equipped with standard G1/2 connections. This allows the ET2740-10 to be combined with standard hand showers, shower faucets, and wall connections.
The hose is compatible with, among others, the round and rod-shaped Aquanello Eterna hand showers and with hand shower holders featuring an integrated water connection.
Suitable for showers and bathtubs
The ET2740-10 can be used with both a shower setup and a bathtub faucet with a hand shower.
With a length of 150 cm, the hose offers sufficient range of motion for comfortable use, while it can be neatly hung along the wall or faucet after use.
Minimalist Eterna design
The sleek design fits perfectly within the minimalist aesthetic of the Aquanello Eterna series. When paired with matte black faucets, hand showers, and wall-mounted components, it creates a fully coordinated shower or bath setup.
The matte black color pairs exceptionally well with materials such as travertine, marble, natural stone, concrete-look finishes, and wood.
