The Aquanello Eterna lockable pop-up sink stopper in PVD gold ET1600-60 is a stylish and practical drainage solution for the sink. Thanks to the integrated pop-up/click-clack mechanism, the drain can be easily opened and closed by pressing the top of the stopper.
The sink stopper is crafted from brass and features a high-quality gold-colored PVD finish. This creates a warm and luxurious look that perfectly complements the gold-colored sink faucets and accessories from the Aquanello Eterna series.
Lockable pop-up sink stopper
The Aquanello Eterna ET1600-60 features a practical pop-up mechanism, also known as a click-clack.
Pressing the top of the stopper closes the drain. Pressing it again opens the drain.
- Press once: close the drain
- Press again: open the drain
This eliminates the need for a separate sink stopper, chain, or external control lever.
To close the sink
When the plug is closed, water can be retained in the sink. This makes it easy to fill the sink when desired.
After use, the drain is reopened with a single press so that the water can drain away.
Brass base material
The ET1600-60 is manufactured with brass as the base material, in accordance with the product specifications. Brass is widely used in plumbing drain components due to its sturdy construction and suitability for daily use with water.
The decorative gold-colored finish is applied to this base material.
Durable gold-colored PVD finish
The visible parts feature a high-quality PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish. In this process, a very thin yet hard decorative layer is applied to the metal surface.
PVD is known for its excellent wear resistance, strong adhesion, and color stability under normal use. This makes the finish particularly suitable for plumbing products that come into daily contact with water and are subject to regular use.
The gold-colored PVD layer provides a durable surface finish that withstands daily use better than many conventional decorative coatings.
Advantages of PVD
- Good wear resistance: suitable for daily use
- Strong adhesion: durable bond with the metal surface
- Color stability: designed to maintain the gold-colored appearance over the long term
- Durable surface finish: highly resistant to normal daily use
- Luxurious appearance: warm, high-quality gold color
- Brass base: solid construction for plumbing applications
To preserve the PVD finish, we recommend cleaning the visible parts with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh, highly acidic, or alkaline cleaning products.
Minimalist Eterna design
The ET1600-60’s design aligns with the minimalist character of the Aquanello Eterna series. The visible top of the plug features a sleek and understated design without any separate control elements.
The gold-colored PVD finish pairs exceptionally well with materials such as ceramic, travertine, marble, natural stone, and composite.
Pairs perfectly with PVD gold-colored sink faucets
The sink plug can be paired with gold-colored Aquanello Eterna sink faucets and other accessories to create a fully coordinated sink setup.
Since both the faucet and the visible drain components can be finished in the same color scheme, the result is a calm and luxurious look.
