Aquanello Eterna PVD Copper Handheld Shower ET2731-62

The Aquanello Eterna PVD copper ET2731-62 rod-style hand shower is a sleek and minimalist hand shower that perfectly complements the clean lines of the Aquanello Eterna series.

The hand shower is approximately 195 mm long and has a diameter of approximately Ø24 mm. The visible metal parts are made of stainless steel and feature a high-quality copper-colored PVD finish.

This combines the solid stainless steel construction with a warm and distinctive copper-colored appearance and a strong, wear-resistant, and durable surface finish.

Slim 195 mm rod-style hand shower

The Aquanello Eterna ET2731-62 features an elongated cylindrical shape with a total length of approximately 195 mm.

With a diameter of approximately Ø24 mm, the hand shower remains exceptionally slim and fits comfortably in the hand. The simple rod design also lends it a calm and minimalist look.

Minimalist Eterna design

The straight cylindrical shape is characteristic of the Aquanello Eterna series. There are no superfluous buttons or decorative elements, making the hand shower a perfect fit for modern and minimalist shower and bath setups.

The copper-colored finish gives the sleek design a warm and luxurious look.

Stainless steel base with copper-colored PVD finish

The handheld showerhead is crafted from stainless steel as its base material. The visible parts are then coated with a high-quality copper-colored PVD layer.

This combines the durability and solid construction of stainless steel with the warm appearance of copper.

Durable PVD technology

The copper-colored finish is applied using PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) technology. In this process, a very thin yet hard decorative layer is applied to the stainless steel surface.

PVD is known for its excellent wear resistance, strong adhesion, and color stability under normal use. This makes this surface treatment particularly suitable for bathroom fixtures that are used daily.

The copper-colored PVD layer adheres strongly to the underlying stainless steel and forms a durable surface finish that withstands daily use better than many conventional decorative coatings.

Advantages of PVD

• Good wear resistance: suitable for daily use in the bathroom
• Strong adhesion: the PVD coating adheres firmly to the stainless steel surface
• Color stability: designed to maintain the copper-colored appearance over the long term
• Durable surface finish: highly resistant to normal daily use
• Luxurious appearance: warm, high-quality copper color
• Stainless steel base material: strong and durable foundation

To preserve the PVD finish, we recommend cleaning the hand shower with a soft cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive sponges and harsh, highly acidic, or alkaline cleaning products.

Standard G1/2 connection

The ET2731-62 features a standard G1/2 connection for the shower hose.

This allows the hand shower to be easily combined with standard shower hoses and with various Aquanello Eterna shower components.

Suitable for shower and bathtub

The handheld showerhead can be used with both a shower setup and a bathtub faucet.

The ET2731-62 can be combined with, among other things:

• A fixed hand shower holder
• An adjustable hand shower holder
• A handheld shower arm with an integrated water connection
• A sliding rod
• A surface-mounted shower faucet
• A bathtub faucet

Slim rod-style hand shower in luxurious PVD copper

The Aquanello Eterna ET2731-62 combines a sleek cylindrical shape with the high-quality look of PVD copper.

The combination of its 195 mm length, Ø24 mm diameter, stainless steel base material, G1/2 connection, and copper-colored PVD finish makes this hand shower a stylish choice for a complete Aquanello Eterna shower or bath setup in copper.

PVD stands for Physical Vapour Deposition and this results in a coating that is much stronger than galvanised chrome, for example, and yet shines just as beautifully. Another not insignificant advantage of PVD coatings is that they are relatively environmentally friendly. To apply the coating, a liquid metal is vaporised in a vacuum environment. This means that the process requires less high temperatures. The vaporised metal is then applied to the product in one or more layers. These layers are wafer-thin so that the design of the product is not affected by the top layer.

PVD coatings are not only applied to taps, but to all kinds of metal objects that are used intensively and still require a beautiful colour. Think, for example, of cutlery, door fittings and even watches.

Advantages of PVD:

• solid coating;
• resistant to most cleaning agents;
• does not oxidise;
• shiny, wafer-thin top layer;
• scratch-resistant;
• environmentally friendly.

Disadvantages of PVD:

• it is a bit more expensive;
• the colour options are (for the time being) somewhat more limited.
